Pass on your knowledge as part of the i.a.c. Trainer Team and train future i.a.c. instructors all over the world.

Training content

In the Instructor Trainer course, you will receive detailed information about the i.a.c. and the RSTC so that you can subsequently train i.a.c. instructors independently. You will also get to know the partners in the i.a.c. global network.

The planning, organization and implementation of i.a.c. Instructor Seminars as well as the assessment of examination results will be part of your future tasks as an Instructor Trainer. You will therefore be introduced to this content together with the philosophy and standards of the i.a.c.. The practical part then consists of the Instructor Examination. Here you show that you can demonstrate all the required exercises appropriately and that you are aware of your role as a motivator and role model.

After successfully completing your IT seminar, you will be part of the i.a.c. Trainer Team and are now allowed to conduct the following trainings:

Prerequisites

At the start of the course:

  • Minimum age 23 years
  • Proof of health status
  • Proof of Master Instructor or comparable
  • Valid instructor liability insurance
  • At least 500 logged dives
  • At least 50 certifications
  • Proof of work shadowing during a Preparation Course and an Instructor Examination
  • Proof of work as a Master Instructor for at least 12 months
  • Proof of Specialty Advanced First Aid or comparable, not older than two years
